Is this for reso or batter? I'm guessing for batter?

Well from memory & discussions here (& on other forums) it's generally accepted that Evans heads in general don't last as long Remo.
With Evans heads most people will buy more than 1 of the same kind of head at the same time.

Evans durability has been fine for me. I use them on both my kits and have for 4 years.

You really cannot compare the durabilty of a 1-ply to a 2-ply head and do it justice.
As far as batter/reso combos.... G1/G1(recommended) = Ambassador/Ambassador , G1/Genera Resonant or Glass = Ambassador/Diplomat

G1's for batters dont last long, they might not get dented or break but they'll just sound flat or dead after a while.
