beatlab or Dr. beat 90

i have a choose a metronome my aunt is buying it for me i asked for the korg beatlab becuase it teaches the rudiments and i really need that right she has been tryin to get since christmas but its not in the stores yes. she went and i wasn't there but whoevr worked at guitar center told her the dr. beat 90 is a better choice im havin a lil troble picking which on any suggestion?

Haven't heard of the Beatlab. ***rushes off to google***

From memory the Dr Beat 90 is a VERY good choice. You definitely won't go wrong with it.
And if you really need to something to teach you rudiments? Get it on paper, as in, buy the books.

Also looks like you haven't got much choice... I say go with the Dr Beat 90 but it's your choice.

...both are good.  Now, Chris Coleman really stressed on buying the DB-90.  You get the Voice Lady and that will definetly help you on understanding the subdivisions and all of that. 


...other good Metronomes are as follows:  Yamaha Clickstation (Midi),  Dr. Beat-60, TAMA Rhythm Watch.
