Can a drummer be considered a "beast" or "monster" without super-duper-stupid quick hands and feet?

Perception.

Depends on whose eyes you are seeing them through. To some, no. To others that are more seasoned, yes. I must also say that a Beast or a Monster is not the highest level of achievement behind a kit.

Is that your ultimate goal? to be considered a beast behind the kit? For me, in my opinion, a drummer that is totally surrendered to God and allows the Spirit to work through him to minister through drums to the people...that is the highest level of achievement.

Dont get me wrong though...I enjoy Beasts too. haha
