I will be doing a solo and i would like the key for which this song is played in on the sax pleaseeeeeeeeeeee. and if you write it out i would appreciate it very much.

I believe Kirk Franklin does it in Dm.  The original Michael Smith version is in Em.  So, that's Bm for Kirk's and C#m for Smith's on an alto.
