In my opinion, Peavey makes indestructible equipment. Although their bass equipment is reliable and has good sound, it doesn't have the best tone. I really like their power amps, and think they are underrated. My first rig was all Peavey (used it for about 10 years); I had a cabinet like the 410tvx, a 4-C amp and a Bassist Eq. I never had a problem with equipment. It just didn't give me that professional tone I was looking for. I found myself always trying to get 'everyone else's' sound.
