I got my Ampeg ba 115 T in a few ago...it's awesome.  If you like the high quality ampeg sound, you won't be dissapointed.  I had it on 5 minutes (not up loud) and my neighbors downstairs started banging on the ceiling!  LOLS... It has a mid range select that you can actually hear a difference in (from 1 to 5).  Great presence.

Whatever combo you decide to get, get more wattage than you'll need.  You'll have more headroom if needed and won't here distortion at louder volumes.

Not sure If I still wanna do the combo now man. Someone introduced the GK600 Head and a 2x10 cab to me! That's definitely something to think about!
Keys, bass, drums, trombone, I sing a lil bit too lol

I own that head. Great head. Pretty much that set up is the same thing as the combo I was talking about. Either way a good call. I do think that seperatly might be a better idea. You can change the cab later if you want. Go for it.

I have that head a matching 4x10 cab and the matching 1x15.

If I were you, I would save a little more money go get this head. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/GallienKrueger-Backline-600-Bass-Head?sku=482534  Make sure you go into Guitar Center with cash in your hand and you'll be able to walk ouit with a good head, cheaper than what is listed on this website.

Then I would get this cab, http://www.avatarspeakers.com/B210%20NEO.htm With this combination, you'll have basically what you are looking for in a combo size, mini rig.  Also, you'll be able to expand with ease in the future if you like.  Jeremy pickup up the same head for dirt cheap at GC, and he has the 410 as well as DWBass has this cab(i think).  But i'm do know that they've both dealt with avatar cabs and like them.

That was me who introduced that to you.  Go for it.  You'll have room for expansion.  Trust me, you won't go wrong with it.

Yes. Dave doesn't sell in retail stores. If he did, the prices would surely go up. Buying direct is the best way to go.

I own an Avatar B210 and a SB112. I previously owned a B115 but sold it in order to downsize my rig with the 1x12.
