PROGRESSIONS

I KNOW DIS MIGHT SOUND DUMB BUT WAT IS PROGRESSIONS!!!!!!!BUT U HAVE TO NO DAT I'M ONLY 14 YEARS OLD AND STILL TAKING LESSON!!!!!BUT I ALWAYS SEE THE WORD PROGRESSIONS ON DIS WEBSITE AND DON'T KNOW WAT IT IS!!!!!!!SO SUMONE PLEZZZ TELL ME WAT IT IS AND IF U HAVE SUM PROGRESSIONS WOULD U  SHARE WIT ME !!!!!!!

The only dumb quest. is the one that has'nt been asked.
A progression is the way chords proceed one to the next.
an example would be --in the key of "c" the first chord would be Cmajor
the forth would be Fmajor  (C ...(d..e..) F)/
so, if someone said to play a one , four, one ( I,IV,I) in the key of C.
You would play cmag, fmag, and back to cmag.------get it?
