...man, I really liked what you did at the end.  That was hott!! I'm going to have to work on the "Sugarbear Groove" now.  I shall make a video clip and say, "I'm going to show yall "the Sugarbear" and send it to Flat-Fifth. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'll try and write it out and post it here on the board. All in all, it's just a variance of one of those latin rhythms (pardon the ignorance of not which latin rhythm). It's just at a slower tempo than what's typically played.

That's real talk right there. I need to find a gig playing somewhere. I'm not doing anything at the moment but stuff at school. I'm in Tampa...if anyone knows of any gigs around town let me know.

I got to listen again.. it didnt sound like the linear songo as most of use use frequently.. so the chuuch songo will suffice. ;D

For some reason, I rolled over around 4am, thinking about patterns - sometimes I do that about work, lol, but not that often.  Guess who's pattern was on my mind at that time?   ?/?

Anyway, regarding that pattern that I was thinking about at the crack-o-dawn:

Time signature: 4/4

Ride cymbal: Play quarter notes on beats one through four.  For added feel, you may ghost 8th notes on the & of beats one through four.

Snare drum: Play an 8th note on the and of beat one and a quarter note on beat four.

Bass drum: Play a quarter note on beat one, a 16th note on the ah of one, two 16th notes on the and and ah of beat two, a 16th note on the ah of beat three, an 8th note on the and of four and a quarter note on beat one again.

This is an ostinato pattern that's being played.  I can now have my peace of mind - lol   ;D

I'll try and put the pattern to a musical staff when I get back to school using a software program and post it on here.
