Did you know there is actually a cyber band that started on youtube.com.  I saw them on TV (Tyra Banks show) where they actually met in person for the 1st time.  The bassist is a female, by the way!   ;D

DWBass ... I belong to a yahoo group called Caribbean Gospel Group and some of the member thought it would be a great idea to use a member's riddim to create songs from, instead of using one that may come from a secular artist.   They eventually had a completed project called Unity Riddims ... The CD contained 2 riddims (as far as I can recall) with numerous artists singing to them.  I have the CD .. it's nice.

I don't know which one this is but here's my version of the bassline.  I tried to keep the line moving but i realize it's easier said than done!  I'm still learning how to do this!  Not really just make them complicated but to just keep im moving and different!  I tried to incorporate what i know about modes to help me do this but IM STILL LEARNING!!

You could also keep it interesting by making it original songs only.. ;)

No reworked version of anyone other artists material ;D

ok ok I know that everyone is loving doing these hot songs, but you can't do secular song here on LGM.

I.E (charlene).

Jazz tunes are ok along with original instrumentals, but songs that have been out there on the radio with some lyrics to them don't make the cut, so the links to all secular songs will be taken down.  Please keep it Gospel based.

Im pretty sure you have all heard this one it is an audio rip of the shed session vol2 preview on youtube. I dialed the bass down but you can still hear it but once you start playing it drowns it out. I think that is justin raines playing. You can have some fun with this one. Here is a midi file that I converted to mp3 and enhanced with a few plug-ins. I muted the bass track so you could add yours. The tune is very familiar to everyone.

Here's another converted midi to mp3 file of 'We Fall Down'. You'll notice it's a little fast. For some reason, Acid Pro will not go below 70bpm and this was around 48bpm. It's still usable. I enhanced this a bit as well.
