Want to start teaching some workshops
« on: May 16, 2007, 01:44:47 PM »
Jesus said, "To whom much is given, much is required."  I have been blessed to have been trained by a great music teacher in college, who is also a Gospel music composer.  He is most famous for "For God So Loved the World," recorded back in the day by Vanessa Bell Armstrong and GMWA under Rev. Cleveland.  I have been in fulltime music ministry for 15 years, mostly in the white church arena, even though most of those were multicultural congregations.  I would like to perhaps start teaching some workshops to choirs, praise teams, and bands.  My strengths are in the areas of vocal techniques, playing together, spiritual development of music ministry, music ministry organization, and teaching how to read and write chord charts.

If anyone can tell me how to get into the circuit of helping African American churches in the areas of audio/visual importance and technology along with music skills, I would appreciate it.
