Not only are you moving to the west, you're going Northwest!  You have no takers for that reason.  all the cats that live on the left coast are in Cali.

Not that anyone was ignoring you....  Its just than not many people (if anyone) can help.

Sorry doc.

Well I will say there are a lot of Organist out there but there isn't a lot of major drummers out there so if you make it there you will be a rare breed

I just got back from Washinging and yes it rains alot up there.  If I am not mistaken, the cat that won the G.C. drum off a couple of years ago is from Seattle.  If not, you'll have to come down here with us down in the Yay Area.

I'm definetly looking forward to the move and thanks for all the early welcomes.

However I'm getting quite scared because I'm hearing that mostly everythings in Cali. I've heard about ya'll in Cali!!!! Ya'll know how to get busy!!! But as far as the Washington area I know there has to be some musicians from up there that are doin it up, there has to be, I just know it...

There are musicians in the Seattle area. My wife's from there. The problem is that they all keep leaving. The cat that one the GC competition name is Royce Shorter, Jr. His dad is fairly known in that area because he does a lot of industry work in that vicinity. I know that Terrence Vaughn is from Seattle as well and has an older brother that still lives there that's pretty good on the Keys. Terrence Vaughn is the MD for James Fortune and Fiya. You may have seen him on the Houston Jam Session dvd or the clip of James Fortune on gospelkeyboard.com. I know they have a gang of groups that sing locally up there like Shades and Youth For Christ. The church scene up there is not that bad as well. If you get plugged in with one of the churches there I pretty sure you can get into some other stuff because it's not a huge music community there. Because the music scene isn't that big, beware some serious egos and the "this is my spot" mentality. I'm sure you'll experience that wherever you go.
My goal as a musician is to be better than myself.

I think you're mis-interpreting the messages.  What they/we are saying is thet there are no cats on the board from the Pacific Northwest.  The local scene may be crackin harder than Indiana Jones' whip but no one knows because there really isn't  anyone on the board that can speak to that.
