Yeah DW I noticed he was playing a Carvin. But they are some nice basses though & for the price you just can't beat them.

Well I think for Mel Brown & other session cats of his caliber, the stress level is pretty low. Cause once you have developed a rep like his, Nathan East, Marcus Miller, etc., they call you to do what you do best. I mean this song here is a good example of that freedom.

I'm guessing a session bassist because that recording will be played over and over.....

Then again, a gigging bassist doesn't get a chance to do over-dubs...
