This thread is great! Thanks for putting all these songs in one spot! C:

Maybe you can help me find out something about a song our choir used to sing. It had verses but the guy who sang it can't remember them. The chorus goes something like this:

Don't lose your soul
Trying to find
The fortunes of this life
It will only lead to (strife?)
(Don't waste your time?)
Searching for things you cannot (find/buy?)
When all you need is the Lord.

The guy who sings it can't find the music, doesn't know who sings it or the title & the former keyboard player isn't able to help with the info right now.
Have you ever heard of this song?

Hello, My Sister!

What a Wonderful blessing you are.   ::)PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do me a favor.  Can you Post the old C.O.G.I.C, Yes Lord in Ab and Eb just want to broaden my skill with those wonderfully flavored songs.

I have a huge library of more modern praise and worship songs and I would be blessed to share if you need them.  Just want to return the gift that you have passed on.

For Yes Lord...check SoundofJoy's website, he did a video lesson of this in Ab a while back.

Fred Hammond's version of This is the Day has been posted on LGM with a MIDI example I believe...try using the advanced search on this one...I don't remember who posted the song.

God Bless...
