My first Gig!

I'm really excited.  Here's my story, i started playing bass about 4-5 months ago. Went to auditions and played on a style i never played before wich is ROCK... today just got a call and they said i rocked the bass and want me to perform next sat live at a concert. i'm going to learn 10 songs by then.   

I've playing nothing but gospel (fred hammond & kirk and stuff) and rock will be my first...

Congrats dfw...that is the sweetness about being a bassist...you are exposed and can play many styles...you will do just fine. I will be praying that all goes well and this will be the first of many to come...even though it is Rock..still give God the Glory, Thanks and Praise...

Make sure you let us know how things go in our weekly "weekend shed"....

I started giving lessons today at the Music Go Round...if you want to stop by and go over some stuff just let me know.
