Beverly Crawford Update

Hey all,

First, let me say how great it is to be back on LGM.  I haven't been on in a long time because of papers/projects and finals, but now the semester is done and I am glad! ;D

Anyway, it was about a month ago that I went to Beverly Crawford's live recording in Los Angeles.  To keep things brief, it was AWESOME!  I will definitely be buying this album, which comes out August 22, 2007.  Ricky Dillard, Edwin Hawkins, and Moses Tyson Jr. were special guests on the album.  Since I was in the front row for the second half of the recording, I actually got to meet Ricky Dillard afterwards, which was a huge blessing for me, as I recently became the director of our new gospel choir at my church.

This weekend, I'll be at the Knott's Berry Farm Gospel Showcase with Dorinda Clark-Cole as the headliner! ;D  Visit http://www.kjlhradio.com/gospelshowcase2007.htm for further details.

Hi.  Did you get her new CD?  What do you think?  To me it's different yet what I'm used to hearing from her.  It's a great CD though.

The CD is on my wishlist, but I also attended the recording.  Actually, I used to be oldskoolgospel, the originator of this thread. lol
