wow what happen to thomas pridgen . well i kno erik definitely held it down he is so musical with his playing

Thomas Pridgen is with progressive rockers the Mars Volta and is on their upcoming CD.

I hope to see a Modern Drummer feature article on him soon being that their last drummer snagged a cover a couple years ago.

Well, Thomas is getting press with DW finally.  He has been in recent advertisements with the 9000 single pedal.

Yes I caught that on page 6 or so of the Nov-Dec issue of DRUMHEAD magazine with Keith Carlock on the cover. This issue is a good read for all you serious cats.

Man I am not a pro and I must crawl before I walk so Ddrum will do just fine for a brother. I have to learn the details in which you all talk...

Trust me man, from one Export owner to another, once you get to the point where you can obviously tell the difference between your Poplar export & DDRUMs ash/oak kits!?? You wont need details. ;D

...You currently own a PDP LX but your talent is screaming.....GIVE ME A DW PLEASE!!!!  Get the picture???  It's all love.  It's all about upgrading your gear like upgrading your computer and whatnot.  Get ready for the '08 fam.

They sound good for the price! They have deep "Fat" tones throw some Emperors on the Batter and Ambassadors on the Reso and you'll be good! BTW They are cheaper also! I still think the CX is your best bet though!. ;)

To each his own, some people pay for names, some pay for quality and sometimes you get both.  Where do you fit in?   ;)  I know what drums will be fitting in my trunk this week!   :D  And you bet-not tell nobody!   :D

Thomas Pridgen is with progressive rockers the Mars Volta and is on their upcoming CD.

I hope to see a Modern Drummer feature article on him soon being that their last drummer snagged a cover a couple years ago.
That album will be out in Jan 2008
