In need of AMPS/PA/MIC equipment

Hello fellow sax players

I need to purchase an AMP or PA system that I can take on the road, when we visit other churches.  Most of the churches we visit never seem to have enough MICs for the musicians and singers...and the PA systems are usually very inadequate.  So, I need to bring my own equipment.  Any recommendations??  What are you guys using??

have you seen the new bose? guitar center had one,it' tall,light and skinny and expensive!  but killer sound,check web site out.to get stereo probably need 2,and a good mixer to sub-mix;but the sound was unbelievable.hope it helps
