2-6 Progression Practice w/ Sample and Backing Track

Hey.. I promise I'm going to sleep after this... maybe..

Ok.. Here's what I got for you.  I have a practice backing track for the 2-6 progression that I talked about in Cool Chord #4 in the Jazz forum.  Use this backing track to practice your LH chording and playing the melody or soloing in your RH especially getting your timing together with those passing chords.  This is good practice because what if you have to play with a bass player??? You need to be able to chord with your LH!!

I also made a track of me playing to the practice backing track so that you can get a feel for how the LH chords should sound and the rhythm you can play them with and especially how to use those passing chords that I showed you in Cool Chord #4.

2. Sample of playing with LH chords and RH solo over the 2-6 progression -
