Well here's a few whose lyrics are specifically about offering/tithing...

* Give To The Lord (Ron Kenoly)

* Running Over (Joe Pace)

* This Is Your Season (Joe Pace)

* Tithes and Offerings (Shirley Caesar)

hopes these help...

I LOVVVVE that Shirley Caesar number... my old church back home put this heavy rock kinda sound to it, and blew it straight out the park!  That song is so hot!

I know it's old, but I still love Blessed in the City by Fred Hammond.  My church here in Atl rocks that out EVERY Sunday without fail.  It's like a part of the culture.  They did add a few different hooks and thangs on the end, just to change it up a bit.

And I also like "Harvest" but I can't remember who sings it.  Some of the lyrics are: I'm expecting a harvest, it's gonna rain in my life... I may not be able to see it, oh but I believe it; God promised a harvest, and I'm going to take Him at His word... then the drive goes it's raining, in my life...  Nice song.  Nice groove.

Great song.

Shirley Caesar's song is the #1 SONG TO PLAY DURING ANY OFFERING FOR ANY SERVICE!!!  Some saints get their "jook" on to that one.

BUT...if you're in a church and don't know if they are traditional or up-to-date (or just plain "stuck on stupid"), you can always go with the Universal, non-denominational Offering Anthem....

"I just wanna praise ya....forever....and ever.....and ever......."

It never fails!!!  I call it my "safe" song, when I'm playing somewhere new!

I love that song.

I also love the Shirley Caesar track. I have the old VHS where she originally recorded it and it's quite different from the CD. So many ways you can mold that song. Love it!

Is that The Harvest by Bishop David G. Evans? If so I really need to listen to that one...I've listened to a few tracks off the cd and didn't care for it and put it on the back burner. The way you all are talking about this song, I may have to give it a listen. :)

I first heard it on Larry Trotter's "Next Dimension."

Noooo, I meant that the one you named is the right one.  :D :D  I just named the whole choir.  It's Larry Trotter & Sweet Holy Spirit Choir on their "Next Dimension" CD.
