leaving the axe unattended momentarily....only to come back to a broken string and a blushing child.....or adult.

hangin out at GC for a while, then leaving, only to remember something you forgot to look at and feeling like the trip was wasted.

reps at GC who talk to you like you don't know maple from spruce, low action from high action...then when you start asking probing questions, they cant answer unless it was in the description in the catalog or on musiciansfriend.

Too much of ANY effect.  I recently heard this guy playing through a GT-8 with this band and he had wayyyyyy too much chorus or flange on it sounded horrid.

a child that thinks its cool to turn all your tuning pegs in the same directions.

a guitarist really getting at it with an out-of-tune axe.

a keyboardest that totally depends on transpose.........please don't ask them to give you a "low E"

A bass player that looks over the left shoulder of the keyboard player for his next note to play with his left hand. (old time sight reading???)  ?/?

LOL, I mentioned that in an earlier thread, too.

As far as church music is concerned, I'm gonna' have to go with: TAMBOURINES

Especially when there are way too many, and the majority of them are handled by 12 year olds.

I don't know, maybe none of you grew up in a down-home church, but it's horrible.

My cousin (drums, bass) and I used to hide them under pews before the service lol.

And, God bless our elders, but I hate when a person gets up to sing, and they can't keep time, but they won't conform to the music, so you have to do that stop-start thing after every chorus... grr...

*Drummers with bad timing

*Choir directors who tell you that you're too loud when YOU know good and well that your volume is fine; besides, a little loud guitar never hurt nobody ;).

*People who erroneously refer to the guitar as a "bass guitar" and vice-versa...BTW, here's something funny that happed at worship team reharsal once.  I brought my Fender Jazz and our worship leader (who plays piano/keys) asked "is that a bass?" >:( >:( >:( ;D!

the guitar tone on almost every gospel cd.....especially the fuzzed out sounds like it's a distortion pedal directly to the console solo sound.
