MISSIONARY WORK
« on: May 09, 2008, 04:35:05 PM »
Well I was at my home away from home (guitar center  :D) and I was jamming out with this cat who knew the blues like nobody's business.  I noticed a young dude just staring me down.  I didn't pay him any mind and kept jammin'.

Once I was finished jammin' with that "blues" cat, I saw that same dude who was staring me down fumbling around with a pentatonic scale.  Something told me to go over there. so when I went over there, I said "hey man, why don't you try this..." I showed him a couple licks with the pentatonic scale.  He seemed so enthused about it :D.  I told him to learn some theory and buy some books.  He said that he has some.  Then I said "Have you heard of Learngospelmusic.com?" he said no and I told him about it.  He looked like he had new life in him after I told him that  :D

How many of you guys recommend this site to you fellow musicians?  ::)

Gibby,
I do it all the time. You know how that works...you can lead a horse to water but you can't make'em drink.  8)
