Ok, I got a chance to check it out.

It was ok. Actually the intro part was kinda "eh" for me, but when it kicked in, it was ok.

That was Strat abuse. Very emotional. Jonathan is alright by me.

Paula White...I do not care for her at all. Something about her sets my discernment meter off something fierce.

I'm very cautious of a LOT of the TV personalities. I just read something day about a certain preacher reporting the "miracle" of peoples fillings (that's right, in their TEETH) turning to gold...

What purpose does that serve to further the Kingdom--or that person's life, for that matter?

I'm not naming names, but this was a bulletin posted by this preacher's website...  :(

I could hear some wiggly out-of-tuneishness happening when he went up an octave.
And it's not the most impressive thing I've heard him play, that's for sure.
Still, every note dripped with anointment, imho.

Yeah, it is unfortunate.

I was church surfing--let me rephrase that lol... I was looking through the chruch listings online, and found one that I thought I'd really like to go check out. less than 300 members, beliefs were in line with the Word.

BUT, you get a welcome package of knick-knacks on your 1st vist--pretty standard, no big deal.
Your second visit, you get a Gas gift card... ???
Your third visit you get entered into their monthly drawing for $500 (That's right, its a MONTHLY drawing).

They also had right in their mission statement a quip about "financial advancement."

I was really let down. Until I saw all that, it appeared to be a perfect fit for a (finally) home church.

Oh, for the record, I wasn't saying anything about DuBose, I do believe he's got his heart where it needs to be when he plays. I know I kinda sounded otherwise. Didn't mean to.

I really didn't care much for the vid as well. As previously stated something about Paula White kinda creeps me out and makes me not want to trust a word that she says....Idk.

i agree the vid was ok nothing really stood out but from what i know sometimes less is more in those situations you have to be there.when i have been in those situations i found out the most effect thing you can do  sometimes is keep it simple and the  holly spirit  will do the rest. iam like some of you guys sometimes a dont trust tv personalities. not nocking them but i just dont know them enough.if i had a choice to hear most tv personalities or my pastor i will choose my pastor hands down.thats just me.

Dubose clip sounded good, nothing spectular but good for the moment...sometimes that's all it takes...simplicity.

Man, pray for tv preachers, some are false and you will know them by their fruits. 

There are a few tv preachers that are unselfishly preaching sound doctrine and are sincerely living for the kingdom of God.  Thier is no hype or deception with godly preachers (Read 2 Timothy 4:1-4).

It seem like we want to knock Paul White,because she is seen on TV.Give me a break.It is not for us to judge anybody.I never heard anything bad about her.There are just as many bad pastor not on TV.They are like anything else.Some bad,some good.You never know,a bad one. just might be in your pulpit on Sundays.I worship the lord,not the preacher,if they are faking the gospel,God will take care of them.We do not have a heaven or hell to put them in.As for as the music,i have no ideal what he is playing,it do not fit the moment.Sound like some music from Japan.
