iT'S THE hAMMOND RE-INCARNATED...I'd rather own the Nord than the Hammond for practical reasons

But it's their trademark color I think man

I use my Nord C1 in church and get lots of comments on the sound. The Red is great and stands out, it weighs only 33lbs and with a ROland Pk5 Set of midi pedals and a good PA system it's terrific!
I can't understand why more people dont get one for the sheer portability!

hey gaz;what's the diferrence (soundwise) thru a PA? the leslie REALLy sounds good.have some friends that say running a korg cx3,roland,nord  thru a leslie IS the bomb

to tell you the truth, I have a Hammond B200 at my club with 822 Leslie and I havent got around to bringing my Nord to the club to try but anyways...

As I needed the Nord for mobile cabaret and church work I had to use a PA and the internal Leslie simulator which is unbelievable!  you can hardly tell. really!  If you put the Nord thru a Leslie that's the ultimate!!!

Anyone buying this will not be disappointed believe me, it's a breakthrough in cloning and and the weight speaks for itself!!

Listen to this Audio Test from the Clavia Nord website in Sweden.  You have to guess which is the internal rotary and which is a external leslie.  Take the test!!!  see if you pass and then look at the stats page to see how many people got it wrong and thought the NORD C1 internal rotary was an 'external rotary'

Leslie Simulator NEW comparison B3 v nord

as I've stated in other threads, I'm on track to purchase one (I don't have a home church I only gig) and the digital drawbars I hated them, but after playing around with the C1 and learning that you could program presets, I became fascinated, if there is a change needed, the digital drawbars are as quick as sliding them out. And the red DEFINITELY stands out, and I like that. Alot

All in all it's a great piece.
