I feel you on this.DO not forget about the Uriah bounce Work some slides in there from time to time.Playing by yourself,you can throw in some bass lines to spice it up.Are you a pemium member,Uriah show how he get down with these type songs.Throw in some passing chords also.You ever check out Bobby Jones show.His guitar player is sooo bad.Songs like this,he work with double notes,singles,riffs,throughout the whole song.Do you have Gospel Legends Dvd, the brother on that play the sameway.G.E Patterson,have a two dics cd,with that type of music.It is really nice.Hopefully,some others will give some ideals.What runs,or licks do you get down with.We can not forget about the 7th chords,or dominant chords.Give you that blues type feel.
