how long should praise and worship last? How many songs do your praise tem sings?

Probaly no more than a half hour. That includes the possibility of the spirit moving etc

I think we sing about 5 or 6 songs. and 1 choir song

I think another good question would be: How many songs should the choir sing in addition to praise and worship?

P&W lasts from 20-30 minutes. We sing about 3 songs. That is it; that is all.

Sunday, we did  "I call you faithful" then went to "Great and Mighty is Our GOD" and ended with "This Is The Air I Breathe"
The church was threw after that. I was like   And Sjon, you know I had to drop "How Great Is Our God" on them

Can I tell you? As simple as we do that song, the chu'ch LOVES it. I can't wait to add some dimension to it (i.e. have the Praise team singing in harmony).

ours usually lasts from 10-20 min......and we will sing only two songs.  I think we sang three songs ONCE!

We'll do between 2-4 songs with praise and worship lasting from 20 min sometimes up to 45 min (my pastor likes to worship).

We alternate Sundays between the PT & choir. When the choir sings, it's not as long.

I say betweem 20 min. to 30 min. max  but as for how many song to same it really depends on how long you all carry a song.

Praise and Worship lasts as long as the spirit leads. We don't program the spirit we let the Lord do what He wants to do. He might want to minister to someone or there might be a healing or deliverance that needs to take place.

However, the P&W Teams prepares about 3 songs, but just depends on how the spirit is flowing sometimes all three are done, sometimes 1 sometimes none.  Just depends, but if a time frame had to be put, we usually last anywhere from 10-20 minutes.
