Ok now here are my reasons as to why it is not better:
1. It takes twice as long to send a text message because of mistakes from the touch screen.
2. You cant insure it so dont drop it!
3. No removeable battery or back-up power device.
4. No tv.
5. No radio.
6. No instant messaging feature.
7. Not blu tooth compatible.
8. Youtube volume sucks.
9. Its only availble through AT&T.
10. Network is not as secure and thats why companies always endorse blackberrys for their employees.
Now if youre into games and ridiculous screensavers that require you to wave your phone in the air like some kind of crazed butt-monkey, running through a graveyard, heading nowhere, then yes. Endorse the iphone.
But if you want a serious phone that has its own network, meaning if yahoo, aim, or google go down, you can still message through the blackberry network, run microsoft windows and a host of other 3rd party apps that the iphone cant conjur up, then endorse a blackberry!
Now, where's your blackberry? If its still at the store, then go get it!
Since I've been an iPhone owner for quite some time, let me tackle this one...(I used to own a Blackberry including the recent Pearl.)
1. Texting with the iPhone is WAY faster than any other method, once you get used to it, as is, with any other method. I have no problem with typing mistakes from the touch screen.
2. Never have insured a phone before, so dont know much about that.
3. Yep, a Blackberry eats up so much power that you need to have a back up. iPhone doesn't need a backup power source. My iPhone can charge at my work computer, home computer, laptop, nightstand, tv dock station, bose stereo and car charger.
4. Haven't really had a need for "live" TV on the iPhone. I do have TV shows...
5. You still listen to the radio?
6. I use instant chat through gmail and it works great.
7. My bluetooth headset works just fine.
8. I Agree!!!! I wish the volume on youtube would be louder.
9. I have T-Mobile.
10. TMobile Edge network, and when I can't get on through Wi-Fi, it logs on through the Edge network which is pretty quick.
What crazed butt monkey game? I haven't seen that one yet...
Push is on the iPhone. Check it out, it addresses some of the other mentioned issues you had.
Now, do I need to PM you the Buy Me Now link for the iPhone or can I just post it up here?
