What should I do?
« on: December 07, 2004, 04:25:49 AM »
Hey All,

God Bless you all, and I hope that you are all doing well.

I was wondering what is the best thing to do when the preacher is preaching, and they 'indicate' that they want to go higher?

Thanks in advance!!

I usually wait til he changes keys himself...Don't take him up yourself cause he may not go that high...especially if he don't go to (for example) C# when he usually in Ab...feel me??   In other words...Follow him... :D

Or how about (and I'm new to this, so bear with me as this is just a suggestion) walking up chromatically in diminished chords until you find where he or she wants to be? It seems like sometimes preachers need help finding where they want to be themselves, and the musicians can help them find their key. It seems like that would work too . . .

Be Blessed . . .
