Strap drive???

What do you guys think about the strap drive if you have ever used one. Out of the pedals i own i must say i enjoy my yamaha flying dragon strap drive!!! It's really smooth!!! I also still use chain but like the strap better.

Strap drives are cool.  Much like direct drive and chain drive pedals, they have totally different feels.  The strap drives feels like it floats.

Yeah bro ive played direct drive, chain and strap. i still love my strap kinda funny i don't know alot of cats playin strap. LOL

They're not a popular as their chain drive counterparts.  They did have their heyday, though.

I love the strap drives feel regardless of the manufacturer. That floating feel is great.

On the speed/power side though they sometimes lag/delay if the strap is not taut.

That's right. I know I've gone through a few straps! I started buying them in near bulk! LOL!
