Gospel Song

This past weekend I heard a song that captured my heart its called
"what love, what love, my father has for me." It was a solo by of my member at sunrise service. Does anyone know where to find the lyrics and the artist for this song? Thank you so much. God be with you always!

Hey, welcome to LGM.  There is a song that comes to mind that is similar to what you stated, unfortunately, I don't remember who sings it, it's an old one.

Oh what a love, Oh what a love
Love I have never known
(don't know this line)
Love far beyond my dreams
Has come to me
More than all I'll ever need
Oh what a love, Jesus has for me.

Anyway, if that's it, maybe someone can help with the rest.

Looking for the same song...Here's what I have and it may not be correct, but here goes.

1) Because of this I'll live in shame
Or some how hope to find
A love much more than god has gave

and my heart belongs to Him alone
Cause His love have delievered me
And I'm not alone each week each day
He made a promise and see

Some possible corrections to the first verse...

A love much more than God has gave
A love no other kind
But love slip in my selfish dreams
Brought once a cold and cruel end

Still not totally sure, but if anyone has any corrections...please post
