Dad has diabetes. My great grandma had her leg amputated)Everyone on my dad's side has diabetes. So, I pray that I will continue to eat correctly so this diabetes won't get me.

My dad is also diabetic.  I just had a physical a couple of weeks ago and I'm good.  I just need to fight the urge to grab a Coke (...esp. the hard-to-find black cherry vanilla flavor ).  I could use a bit more exercise too.

My sister is a diabetic, and due to her not properly taking care of herself in past years she has lost about 85% of the vision in her right eye (having surgery to try and correct it next week, pray for her) and is not on dialysis 3 times a week. Being that her life is/was truly in danger she is NOW eating right and taking her meds etc. But she's a trooper and hangin on in there. I truly thank God for her.
