He is ok, but I think his boy Chris Dave is better.  I have never REALLY heard Chris Dave play, but a associate of mine who also plays drums said that Chris was VERY good and this was about 5 years ago.

ok first man you cant really say chris daddy dave is better if you havent ever heard this other guy and you deffinately cant take someone else's word that he isnt as goo and then go around sayin it. but im listening to mint condition as a matter of fact right now and i was just wondering what records for mint condition does stokeley play for?

Good point DW.  I asked you about Clendale under another topic, but I got the answer under another topic that you posted under.  I would REALLY like to hear him play.  Do you know if Chris Coleman is currently playing with Isreal?  If he is, I get to hear him on the 30th of this month.  Even if he isn't I know that I still will be blessed.

come on man. chris dave is a BEAST!!!!!!! but guess what stokely is also a BEAST!!!!!!!! they both super talented, but stokely is also lead singer so he really cant play to much at the live shows. but if u want to know what songs on the cd's that stokely and chris are playin on, read the credits. some songs they are doing double drums. i wish they would release a live cd. its long over due.

Stokely Carmichael is an actor. Stokely Williams is a drummer. Get it right. Stokely is definately as good as Chris Dave. They have very similar styles. In fact, Stokely has played with Janet Jackson and does a lot of work for Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. He is an in demand straight ahead jazz drummer and teacher in Minnesota also.
