...you see...when I was young I heard this guy with Tower of Power. He put every chop in a place. But not like a machine!...Like he owned it. He could hear between the beats and so can I! For years I wanted to come across a video like this one because it gives you an opportunity to see how the chopping should be done. How the solo can go in different directions with great sound and sustain withno effects!

Good video and tip on soloing and chopping. Also a good exchange of playing styles. I remember Bruce on my old TP albums. Didn't Al play with Earth, Wind and Fire years ago?

I like how you can hear individual styles!
They DON'T sound like each other, but they communicate well together.
I love that before the 90's,it was extremely important to have your own thing. Your OWN sound.
