"Chasing After You (The Morning Song)" - Tye Tribbett and GA
"How Great is Our God" - Chris Tomlin
"Jesus" - Kiki Sheard

If I think of more I'll post them.

Not exactly "gospel", but check out material from Steven Curtis Chapman or Michael W. Smith.

Steven Curtis has some yummy acoustic playing on his songs.

Oh and try Jeremy Camp's unplugged stuff for some nice, strummy stuff.

Apart from the songs that Koda posted above, i cannot think of any pure gospel acoustic based stuff.

I apologize for using the word "stuff" so much. :)

Please insert the word "song" instead of "stuff". :)

When I was a new church goer and just picked up guitar my goal was to play Lisa McClendon's You Are Holy

Oh snap how could i have forgotten this song. It is a lovely song and quite easy to play.

Falling in Love With Jesus, Jonathan Butler's The Worship Project version especially.

Another lovely acoustic song.

Off the top of my head I am drawing a blank on finger picked songs. I mean songs by the most widely known artist who recorded in that styles. Many people have done solo or instrumental covers  of "the greatest hits" gospel/contemporary Christian songs as well as traditional songs. Perhaps a search of "guitar gospel" or "guitar Christian music" and see what the complimation CDs have to offer will help.

many songs especially in CCM have distinctive acoustic guitar with distinctive strum patterns think of something like Dave Matthews in the secular world. Maybe Praise leaders like Paul Balouche, Tim Hughes, Charlie Hall or Jeremy Camp

Something I just found from 2003 is the David Crowder Band's Only You

I just recently got my hands on one of his albums. I think its great, experimental stuff. Collision, i think. Its great.

Also, artists like Three Days Grace, Mervy Me, Third Day, The Fray, Jars of Clay. I realised that I listen to a lot more CCM since i been playing the guitar.

Are the Fray and There Days Grace Christian groups?

I'm not being crass, I really don't know. Not too familiar with either of their content.

Yea they're all in the same boat. Three Days Grace is like The Fray and the rest of those guys too.
