Sup guys,
Do any of you guys use sequence during the praise and worship at your church? This Firday were going to try it out for the first time. We got really excited about the idea and went ahead and i got myself a PowerBook G4 and have basically made like 6 songs on it. The main purpose for the sequence is to fill in the gap for the guitars that we dont have, and the brass and synth player that we dont have. Well, we basically got all the instruments (*excluding the drums the piano, the bass and the lead voice, since we are going to be doing that) recorded on the sequence and then we panned everything to the right and got the click to the left. That way we connect to the mixer, and have the sequence playing out in the house and the click in our earmonitors. I got a question, has anyone done this before, and how did it work out with the click, and trying to follow it.
A week ago during soundcehck we tried it out to see how it would come out but it was really hard follow the click since my drums are so loud and and i cant do nothing about it. On stage we each have our own personal mixers, which we connect with our head phones and i try to follow the click alone by lowering everything else just enough so i can guide myself but still, the drumset over-powers the click in my earmonitors. I was thinking of buying isolation earphones. Do you think this would work? Thanks guys
God Bless
