yeah right....


anyway, I picked up the bass at church before service.  We were grooving and I was like "hey the bass isn't too bad!"

Keep in mind...I never actually PLAYED on the bass...at all.

question is have any of you guys just started playing a foriegn instrument and found out that you might be aight at it? i.e. flute, xylophones???

I've been decent on a drum set. I can hold tempo and sound half decent. I love pretty much any type of hand drum: congas, bongos, you name it. I wish i had a conga drum at home to play every once in a while.

I tried my dad's bass and its pretty cool. I can pull off the whole "root note jig" and get in some small fills and rhythm's cause of the similarity to a guitar neck.

I used to take violin lessons (grades 1-7), and that was way fun.
