if finger picking is your style (like me) this is the song for you..if you dont have a lil finger picking basics skills down this is also a good song to practice...since im pressed for time ill tab the song out in three parts probally one part per day or when i can get back on line...

but the intro sounds a lil hard but its not...

Through out the song sometimes he's playing the 3---0---3---0----3---0 part instead of the 0----3----0----3----0----3 part (second string run) .... but if ur like me just whatever i switch it up the hole time any ways...GET THAT RYTHEM DOWN WHEN U GO TO THE REPEAT..VERY IMPORTANT..

FINGERING:
I use my thumb for all bass notes and pick with the rest of fingers.
for the left hand i use the index for both all "2" tabs and and middle finger for all "3" tabs.

rish1906 i have a question.  in your tab for chasing after you, during the fingerpicking portion, is this based on a chord formation that would make it easier to pick.  i am fairly new to the game and am trying to get everything i can.  besides that song is sweet.  thanks for your help.

On the intro and chorus i dont hold a chord just pick it...but when the verse and bridge starts thats when i got to the chords like the cmaj7, Bm7, G, and the C9 chord.... hope that helps you... it looks really hard but its not i wish it was a way i could post it easier...

I dug on Rish laying the groundwork and offering this up, so I thought I'd put up how I'd approach it.
The TAB above doesn't get all the slides and timing nuances, but I think all the notes and patterns are correct.
At least this is what I heard.   

If I can I'll be back to clean up any mistakes and add to this...
...I save stuff I might need later here on this forum.
I've actually found myself learning a song I need on short notice sometimes...and find that I already TABBED or chorded it out here.
