Praise Team without notes
« on: October 21, 2010, 01:34:43 PM »
Does anyone know how to teach parts to a praise team without a musician?  We sound like five hit dogs..LOL

God has been smiling on us and we sound better than when we first starting singing..

Yes, I do.

First suggestion, can you TEACH each part?

If so, then can you PLAY each part on the keyboard?  If not, you'll have to sing each part.

And, we use tracks @ my church which helps.
Despite our communication technology, no invention is as effective as the sound of the human voice.

Yessir, that's exactly how we were. Before me and my brothers started playing, I would hook up the mp3 or cd to the PA. A whoooolllleee lot of rewinding but it worked. Be encouraged tho because if y'all kill it acapoco, y'all definitely gon trash it when y'all get musicians. (Trash meaning a good thing)
