Try the TAYLOR T5 yet???
« on: January 28, 2005, 11:37:00 PM »
A friend of mine just returned from winter NAMM in Anahiem.  He was raving about a new Taylor guitar model T5.  It's supposed to give you both acoustic and electric tones, and looks ultra cool.   8)

Anyone see or try out this guitar yet?  There's a picture, but very little info at their website: http://www.taylorguitars.com/  .  Check it out!

OH MY GOSH!!! 8O   Check out this video of the T5 with Bob taylor at NAMM.
These HOT new guitars were tailor (or Taylor?) made for the worship musician.  Gotta see to believe!!  Say bye bye Variaxe!

Click on link, scroll down to T5 video & click to play.  Enjoy!!

Wika2,

The tayor guitars seem nice...but check the Schecter out.

Schecter C-1  Acoustic/Electric Semi-hollow body guitar.

I have different guitars  from peavey to Les Paul to play....but when I want tonal variety with real electric and acoustic sounds.  This is my favorite guitar to play when I do not know what will be song.  I am fully loaded with this guitar.  Actually it is becoming my overall favorite guitar...it still need to earn my trust.

Hi Kels.  That's also a sweet looking guitar.  good price too!

As a Taylor owner I've become well aquainted w/ it's quality construction and superior tone.  My take on the T5 is it's overall uniqueness, and it's hip vibe.
It's innovative pickup design, true acoustic tones, and custom woods make this a frontmans dream!

I'm thinking you'll be seeing a lot of these $3000 babies fronting  the major concert scene.  Dave Matthews anyone??
