Ok I'm sorry, but I just have to ask. Why didn't you ask the person who appointed you the interim director?
I DID ASK THEM AND THE ANSWER THEY GAVE WAS UNTIL DECIDE TO APPOINT YOU AS A DIRECTOR IT COULD TAKE YEARS.....OR SOMETHING TO THAT EFFECT,,,,
What kind of evaluation period is that? Even a candidate for POTUS has an easier time getting vetted.
Okay one more question.... what's with the all caps? (just askin...)There is nothing to it.Allot of times I check this website while at work and I have to keep the caps on.
In that case, you sound like the director on a probationary period. You don't have the title of director until they see fit. Also sounds like the director gets compensated, so they throw interim to classify you as a volunteer.
sounds like they've had issues keeping a director and just don't want to have someone come and then leave (I would check that out) or they someone to do the job but they want to keep the "power" and have the "final say"..be prayerful..
See that is the exact thing that my huband said.. He thought it was a power move. Which I am not to worried now. I prayed on it and I asked god to show me the way. I directed this Sunday and they were so happy, pleased (impressed that I may not hear that "Interim Director" used anymore.I got a choir member that been on that choir atleast 10 years to lead her first song and she was so proud of herself and so was the choir. See God gives each of us gifts and talents and it up to us to use them. I desire to encourage those to sing with uplifted voices and give god all the praise. None of us are better than the other....But needless to say we will see If me being the Interim Director is bought up agaian..
