Excellent evaluation of the Bongo and Stingray, and a good example of how pickup placement can affect one's playing.

Yeah, Alex Al is a bad boy. Not to fond of the Music Man's tone, but the brotha is working it though. I like when he started playing some Rush(Tom Sawyer) at about 1:47. Good post.

I had never heard of him until Michael Jackson's "This Is It".
He smashed on that whole dvd and sounds great here.
He has become one of my favorites.
