Chuck Swindoll's "Paul- A Man of Grace and Grit".

A very good read for anyone who feels that God is calling them to a greater purpose. Very inspiring. : )

Very good book for any musician calld "The Rebirth of Music"

Just got saved and you are a musician? or its been on your heart to give your life to God?.. Read this.. I've loaned this book out several times to friends im witnessing too that listen to secular music and it changed their perspective of what they are actually listening too. This book really illuminates what we do as musicians in a very humble way, but makes you aware of the seriousness and the original purpose of music. I'd recommend this book to any church praise team or choir to read and study. Really opened my eyes. Will re-read it when i get it back this week.

Very interesting.

I'd love to hear whatever tidbits you got from it, or how you liked it.

Very interesting.

LOVED the book.  In short, it's a response to Stephen Hawkings' book 'The Grand Design' where Hawkings makes the claim that there is no God.  It comes from a scientific angle versus solely using the Bible to support belief in the God we serve.

I believe it helps those who want to defend the faith from a physical perspective (as most non-believers don't, or won't listen to the spiritual perspective).

Ooooh Lawd, I don't know if I'm ready for that. But it sounds like something we should read. I believe all Christians should be apologists. I might have to get a copy for my scientist friend. And maybe I'll skim it myself.

I've had that same thought this summer.  I'm just trying to have enough ammo for the fight.  :D  The great thing about the book is that it's not terribly technical in it's language; meaning there aren't too many unexplained scientific terminology.

Soo I JUST literally downloaded the free Kindle App for Android. I like it.

I'm reading the 'sample' of "Let it go" by T.D. Jakes. I think I may get it.

I'm not one who reads a lot, but I think this book may help me and it's good so far.

Oh yeah, I've been reading about the life of Jesus (or......well, the wording sounds weird to me, but anyways....) up until His resurrection. And I can truly say I'm in awe of Him all over again.  :)

Jesus is SO cool! LOL No, but fa real!

I recieved a copy of "Tortured for Christ" in the mail. I'm not sure if my wife ordered it or if it just showed up. Either way, it's a very good short read. Communism is most assuredly driven by the devil. There is much more evil in the world than we are aware of here in America.

Great book! I struggled staying consistent with the process near the end....smh! But I made it!
