Yep, the groove is definitely what gets me! And I love the way Kayla so perfectly complements the groove. I mean she is just perfect for that song.

Same here.  "Alive in South Africa" is probably my all-time favorite gospel album.

I don't even like jazz (I know that's a dangerous thing to admit in front of a bunch of musicians... lol), but her voice just strikes me as so jazzy... her technique is just fiyah. Slick stuff indeed.

I know this is a strange thing to say and even visualize, but Kayla reminds me of what Amy Winehouse would be doing if she had sung gospel music.

Mmmmm...that album was the truth.  That whole worship medley (From "Away" to "Alpha and Omega") is a straight tear dropper.

"Now Are We" takes me back!!!  I believe that was the first song I ever directed when I was in college.
