I don't care what anybody says, I still think there are too many issues neither side is willing to compromise on. If they somehow work it out it would absolutely shock me, but we'll see.....

That's still a pretty full season, too... they know better than to let this foolishness cancel a season, it'd take years to recover from that.  I wonder if fans should still teach them a lesson for the next time they try to think of a lockout as an option.

Look at God.  "The Heat is on".  Still a lifelong Spurs fan though.

These people tryna mess with me! :o :o

Dwight is one of my top fav players. CP3 is another fav. It's possible that they're putting one of them with Kobe?????? Whyyyyyyy?!!! I never in my life thought I would say this but......Go Lakers? Mannn....that don't even sound right.

I'm not a fan of Kobe but I will give honor where honor is due. He's a bad boy.

LOL SHONDO!! Yeah, so much for "competitive balance".....HA!!

But still, until Lakers make ANY big move and I hate to say this as a bootleg Lakers fan, Miami Heat should be seen as the favorite to win the title this coming season. They HAVE TO win the title!

So from what I'm hearing the Lakers are willing to deal Gasol to New Orleans for Chris Paul & Bynum to Orlando for Dwight Howard and if Odom is involved Lakers would take Hedo.

Wow!!!

New Orleans would be FOOLISH to trade Paul for friggin unstable Gasol. The Orlando side doesn't look as bad. I hate the Lakers, so obviously I'm against this. Pure team stacking, smh. Chris Paul can be a star, but not if he's on the Lakers with that other guy.

And why don't the Spurs ever get any big trades?

LMBO and I agree.

I'm against it too but if it happens...I'm all for Dwight and Chris getting rings.

That's a very good question. It's a shame that they are going to wait until Tim Duncan can't even walk before the realize they need another big man. What more has to happen to let them know that team needs to be broken up?!?!? They continue to lean on Parker, Manu, and Duncan....That's not going to cut it in today's NBA.

After the Celtics stupidly gave away their chance to get back to the Finals, they should blow the rest of that team up. KG, Pierce, and Allen have already peaked. It's time to move on.

Tony Parker really disappointed me when he said, in the off-season, that he doesn't think the Spurs can win another championship. That's not a good attitude to have.

Some of the latest moves in this busy free agency period include:

-Shane Battier will join the Miami Heat along with Eddy Curry.

-Caron Butler signs a 3 year deal with the LA Clippers.

-Tyson Chandler is close to signing with the Knicks.

-Shannon Brown, formely of the Lakers will sign with Phoenix.

-There is still work being done on a potential 3 way trade between Houston, New Orleans and Lakers that would send Chris Paul to Lakers.

-CBA is close to being ratified.

-Miami Heat vs. Los Angeles Lakers (1st of many predictions for the 2012 NBA Finals) with Miami winning in 6.
