Help With Picking Out Recording Software
« on: October 02, 2011, 01:56:35 PM »
I finally decided to take the leap into software recording but is having trouble choosing vst's. I'm looking at Komplete 8 so I can have an abundant choice of sounds and fx's, but the price is not in my range for now. So I would like to know what vst would any of you guys use for ep's and acoustic piano. I've read about lounge lizard ep3, scarbee ep for ep sounds and Alice Keys, NI Acoustik piano for acoustic but what works best in a mix?

Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

I have Komplete 6 which has several of the better known VST programs. I find the sounds are not as realistic as I would like so I haven't use them in any my productions. I use the sounds in my keyboard and record as audio files.
I love music, any kind of music.
