Can someone please tell me a exercise to do for better gospel bass playing...

I really need help with my fingering and scales....My ear is not great but I can read music very well. I want to know what I need to do to be a better gospel bass player!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME...THANK YOU in advance and GOD BLESS :) ;) :D ;D
