I already have everything except the recording equipment and the second 5-string bass. Also, right now, my room has a big echo, so I have to get some sound absorbsion material. I hear that it's pretty cheap here in Korea. My studio will double as a practice room and not just a home studio.

I use  ProTools and Digital Performer 4.5 software for recording.I have the MOTU 828II and 002DigiDesign audio card for the Mac. Fantom, Motif ES6 keyboard and a controlor board for mini set up on computor.The (BLUE)Blue Bottle mic.akg mic.,Eureka preamp,Mackie HR824 monitor speakers. God has been GOOD! M4C Recording Studio

A Mac G4, ProTools, Reason 3.0, Logic Platinum and a controller should be all you need to get started, shouldn't it?
