I cant help but think you're asking this in the wrong forum, but I'll give it a shot.
Im not near a board, but I think this is a "one-minor two move" that a lot of cats use. In a major key you play the one chord in this song it would be GBD and then play ACE, invert each and you can almost go up the whole scale of G major.
