After watching guthrie govan video I came away with alot. I learned on how you can use Chromatic approach notes that are half a step from its chord tone. You'll be amazed how each sound.

A minor chord A C E in the key of C. Notes of C major scale: C D E F G A B theres only two chromatic notes I'm using to bump up against the minor chord and that is D# G#

The chord looks something like this

E---5
B---5
G---5
D---7
A---7
E---5

You can use these note against the A minor A C E

E--4-5--------------------
B------4-5----------------
G----------4-5------------
D--------------6-7--------
A------------------6-7----
E-----------------------4-5

So basically it look like this

G# to A
D# to E
B to C
G# to A
D# to E
G# to A
