Still at 200 bpm, still not as fluent as I would like so I'm spending some time here for a minute.

All you guys that's trying to hit the "250 bpm mark" but are falling short, keep in mind it's only been 6 days!! ::) and most of y'all are close to it.  All of y'all have passed the 100 bpm mark and should be able to play it at 100 bpm with ease... that was the real mission...mission accomplished!! ;D ;D ;D

My metronome only goes up to "250" bpm if it went any higher I would of had you guys shooting for that!! I can play it faster then 250. :o . I'm just trying to get you guys to stretch way beyond the mark, that's how we grow, by stretching.

Okay now that we mastered the "root position  ?/? ( 1-3-5-7 ) it's time to move on to the 1st inversion (3-5-7-1 ) Let's play the "3"  (F#) on the B string at the 7th fret. Start at 50 bpm and work your way up to 250 bpm  ;D. I made a few mistakes in this video but you guys will get the idea. Let me know if you have any questions.

DEXTERITY - skill and ease in using the hands. My ring finger is a bit challenged. I am training it to move more fluent with the others. It is stubborn but we are getting there. I can hold down 200 bpm for over 2 minutes but then my ring finger no longer wants to conform.

I've been doing your lessons this week and all I can say is thanks. I've spent probably $300+ on DVDs and all they show is scales and say practice practice practice without explaining what to practice. I was just playing the same basic notes for 5 years but now I'm putting some runs in the songs I play. You've definitely helped me.
