The LGM CCM Song Thread

Inspired by the "Genres of Music" tread, the purpose of this thread will be to share with the mostly gospel listening community some of your favorite CCM/P&W songs that may broaden your listening palette.  First up for your consideration: "The Hurt and The Healer" by Mercy Me

Revelation Song by Gateway worship featuring Kari Jobe. To me it's the "more than anything" of CCM. Will put link up when I'm home.

We played that song a few Sundays ago :).

SHEKINAH GLORY (We wait for You) - Jaye Thomas & Cory Asbury


When I tell you our church goes IN on this?  Everybody gets hype from the intro.  We flip a little of the words near the end.  Our worship leader is good at flowing in improv.

OK, at about 0:57 to 0:59 or so, the guy does a chromatic vocal run, thus this video fails the CCM test.

We used to do this one at my church:

This is one of Tommy's songs that Crystal Lewis covered. My wife was actually one of the first people to ever sing it at church right after Tommy wrote it. He asked her during rehearsal to give it a shot. Good times...

I went to his church for about 7 years and, yes, I played with him and eventually subbed for him a few times when he was playing various Promise Keepers and Harvest Crusade events.

Back on topic...this is a newer song that we've been doing at my church:
